What is the name of my e-mail program?
If you are not sure which e-mail program you use (name, version), it is easy to find out:
Microsoft Windows
Start your e-mail program as usual.
In the menu bar at the top, look for "Help", "Info" or "?".
After clicking this entry, a menu appears with the menu option "About...", "Info", etc.
Click the entry: name and version number of the e-mail program are shown.
Apple Macintosh
Start your e-mail program "Mail" as usual.
In the menu "Mail" click "About Mail".
In the window "Mail", you can find the name of the version in detail.
Why don’t I see my e-mail program?
The following older versions under Microsoft Windows are no longer supported:
Thunderbird 2.x, Thunderbird 3.x, Netscape 4.x, Outlook Express 4.x, Outlook 97 and 98.
If you use Outlook Express 4.x under Windows, we kindly request that you download Outlook Express 6 (incorporated in Internet Explorer 6) from the Microsoft website.
The following older versions under Mac are no longer supported:
Netscape 4.0x, Outlook Express 4.x - 5.02, Entourage up to 9.05.
If you use Entourage version 9.0.1 -9.0.4 (Office 2001) under Mac, we kindly request that you download the Entourage version update from the Microsoft website.
